Hi, I’m Priscilla, the founder and owner of Skin By Daek. I’m a wife, a mother of seven, a nurse, and a proud United States Army veteran who served for seven years.
Before becoming a nurse, I spent 16 years working in human resources, including during my military career. I later returned to school to earn my nursing degree, worked as a wound care nurse, and now serve as the Director of Nursing at an assisted living facility.
Skin By Daek began with a deeply personal purpose. Several of my children struggle with eczema, and I’ve experienced eczema and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation throughout my life. Those experiences inspired me to create natural skin care products with a focus on being gentle on the skin.
As my brand grew, so did my desire to understand skin and the ingredients we use to care for it. I enrolled at Southeastern Aesthetics Institute, earned certifications in aesthetics and medical aesthetics, and officially opened my medical spa.
My passion is corrective skin care—helping clients address concerns such as acne, uneven skin tone, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation while supporting sensitive and eczema-prone skin. I understand how personal these concerns can feel because I’ve experienced them myself.
